We would like to congratulate our Maple dancers that competed last week at the World Irish Dance Championships held in London, England. It is such an accomplishment to qualify to compete on the world stage. Maple had five dancers travel to London and we are proud of each and every one of them!

Washington DC St Patrick's Day parade 2014
Washington DC Parade Information
Maple Academy is in Group B this year for the DC St Patrick's Day parade. Please meet by the Smithsonian Castle at 1030am on Sunday, March 16th. The parade starts at noon.
All Maple dancers are invited to participate; help us plan by submitting your RSVP to the evite. Parade attire is the Maple School Costume or the Maple Tracksuit. Hair should be in a bun or ponytail with green and navy ribbon.
No class in Bethesda on March 4th
Due to the snow, Montgomery County Schools are closed on Tuesday, March 4th, to include all after school activities. There will not be dance class in Bethesda!! Use the time to work on stamina/core/drills at home and we will see you when the weather clears!
No Class on Monday, March 3rd due to weather
Fairfax County Public Schools are closed, due to predicted snow. There will not be class in Vienna on Monday, Mar 3. Enjoy the snow, but don't forget to practice!!!

This is a reminder that the Vienna classes follow Fairfax County Public Schools for weather, and are cancelled Wednesday, Jan 22nd.
CLASS MAKE UP POLICY:
Students are encouraged to make up missed classes and classes that are cancelled due to weather. However, we request that all students email in advance to confirm the date you are requesting is okay. All make up classes need to be completed by June 4,2014.
Extra scheduled classes are not eligible for make up classes. If you have any questions, please email Marnie.
